Does Valorant have crossplay between PC and console? Now that we’ve got our hands on Valorant on consoles, the question remains whether or not you can play with friends on different platforms, or whether your progression from years of grinding on PC will carry over.
It’s been four long years of Valorant exclusivity on PC, but the wait is finally over as the FPS game heads to consoles. We’ve locked down the latest Valorant codes, hooked ourselves up with the best Valorant crosshairs, and figured out exactly how crossplay and cross-progression work between the PC and console versions of Valorant.

Does Valorant have crossplay?
No, you cannot play Valorant with friends between PC and console. You can, however, play with friends across consoles – so Xbox players can team up with PlayStation users.
Riot Games states this is because “fair play is a cornerstone of competitive gaming.” This also means that Valorant does not support third-party controllers, nor does it support mouse and keyboard on consoles. Any attempt to use them will result in a ban.
This also means that Valorant players on console cannot face PC players during ranked matches. You’ll have a separate rank and MMR if you’re playing on console and PC.
Does Valorant have cross-progression?
Yes, your Valorant progress will carry over between all platforms.
Valorant has a shared inventory and shared progression across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation as long as you sign in with the same Riot Games account. This means you’ll retain your account level, currencies, recruited agents, weapon skins, battle pass and progression, and mission progression across dailies, weeklies, etc.
If you have Xbox Game Pass you’ll have the benefits on Xbox but not on PlayStation. This includes all agents, day one access to every new Valorant agent, and the 20% match XP boost that’s given to Game Pass members. In addition, any progress made during Valorant’s console open beta will carry over to the full release.
